USD/JPY: The downtrend could have bottomed

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) – The Dollar Yen cross could have reached a bounce up area, Steven Wesiak, economist at ABN Amro affirms: “The sell-off remains in full swing but is approaching an area where this could start cooling off, namely the 114.44 low to the 113.36 former support." About the eventual upward trend, Wesiak adds: “The first confirmation that the current downtrend is reversing comes above 117.84 but only pushing past 119.00 will scare of remaining sellers. That in turn will open the way back up to the 122.19 top."
